Job Summary
The Regulatory Analyst will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing regulatory changes to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role requires assessing regulatory requirements, preparing compliance reports, and working closely with internal teams to mitigate regulatory risks. The position demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex regulations, particularly in cosmetics, class I medical devices, supplements, and toys. The role also requires proactive collaboration to ensure regulatory compliance across multiple product categories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze regulatory changes across business and product categories, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards. Maintain up-to-date regulatory reports, documentation, and compliance records. Conduct compliance audits and assessments to identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Facilitate collaboration within and outside the department to develop and implement effective compliance strategies.
- Interpret and apply relevant laws, policies, and regulations, ensuring business alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices. Provide cross-functional regulatory guidance and support the development of compliance training programs.
- Assist in preparing regulatory filings and submissions to government agencies. Respond to regulatory inquiries and support audits or examinations as required.
- Coordinate with external vendors, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders to maintain compliance and foster strong working relationships.
- Plan, coordinate, and document regulatory meetings, ensuring alignment on compliance strategies and timely execution of action items.
Key Requirements: Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Business, Finance, Regulatory, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Previous experience in regulatory compliance is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory documents and communicate findings clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and regulatory compliance software. Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Slack, Teams, Zoom, or Gmail is an advantage.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
