Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply the best practices in email development, email compliance regulations, and accessibility.
  • Set up, test, and launch complex email campaigns with dynamic content, and SMS messaging.
  • Execute email campaigns with a heavy emphasis on customer segmentation, testing protocol, and technical execution.
  • Ensure identical rendering across browsers, ESPs, and devices.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot technical performance issues, conduct Quality Assurance tests for every email/sms on a technical level as well as ensure copy/design consistency
  • Compile reports with a high degree of accuracy and work with a strategist to get the best results 
  • Assist the Strategist to ensure the production process is smooth so that each asset goes out at the appropriate time
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new features, and best practices in retention marketing and Klaviyo to continuously optimize campaigns.


Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years inside the Klaviyo platform, working in an ecommerce marketing role preferably within an agency. 

Proven track record in leading a holistic ecommerce retention strategy (aka you have case studies and examples to prove).

  • Experience managing retention marketing for companies earning in excess of $500k per month.
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience managing email and sms campaigns using Klaviyo
  • Strong understanding of email marketing strategies, segmentation, A/B testing, and analytics
  • Have expertise in integrations of apps and to a certain level, code
  • You MUST know how common Shopify apps work, their capabilities and limitations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • A keen eye for detail (you will need this for QA)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
