Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement email marketing strategies to promote Dignitas’ mission and initiatives.
- Create engaging and compelling email content, including newsletters, fundraising campaigns, and donor communications.
- Manage email campaigns from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality content.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and adjust strategies for optimization.
- Segment email lists and personalize communication to increase engagement and donor retention.
- Coordinate with the communications and fundraising teams to align email marketing efforts with overall organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with email marketing best practices and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders through email outreach.
- Continuously stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve email marketing effectiveness.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in email marketing or digital marketing, preferably in a non-profit setting.
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar).
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive content.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting to evaluate campaign performance.
- Understanding of email marketing metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
- Knowledge of best practices in email deliverability, segmentation, and A/B testing.
- A passion for non-profit work and supporting meaningful causes.
